Wrath Of The Lich King Preview

Before you even start, yes I know that some of this may be old news to you. But bear with me, I’ve found some new cool stuff that I’m going to put in here.

My main happens to be a Tauren Warrior. So looking at the new talents and abilities such as Titans Grip, Heroic Leap, and Bloodbath I was already drooling all over it.

But then I took a look at the Death Knight. Oh my. I find it hard to believe that anyone would not want to play this class. From what I have read all you need to do to unlock your Death Knight is have a level 55+ character. Easy enough right?

After creating your Death Knight you will start out at level 55 in Acherus: The Ebon Hold over the Eastern Plaguelands. You will have access to a few spells and abilities, and a set of green gear. After you complete all the quests in Ebon Hold you will have a full set of blue gear and be ready for Outland.

Also some new features include Stormwind Harbor, barbershops in all major cities, a new profession: Inscription, two new arenas, a and a guild calendar.

At the barbershop you will be able to change your characters appearance, for a fee. At this time the amount of gold required will depend on your level, and how much you change.

From the official EU Beta Forums:

We’re pleased to announce a convenient upgrade to the way that mounts and vanity pets are handled in Wrath of the Lich King.

Players will be able to “learn” a mount or non-combat pet much like learning a spell, recipe, or new ability, and these creatures will then show up on a new Pet tab within the Character Info section of the interface. Players will be able to access and preview their learned mounts and vanity pets through this tab.

Once learned, the pet icon or mount icon will no longer appear in bag spaces or bank spaces. This inventory space will be made available once again for other adventuring needs. Pets can still be set to hotkeys by dragging them to the hotkey bar, much like any other spell or ability.

Unreal Tournament 3 Review (Xbox 360)

I recently bought UT3. Having played the origional UT I already knew what to expect, fast paced, ultra violent, pulse pounding fun!

It delivers! I got everything I expected and more! The game looks great, the sound effects are pretty good too. Those old school sound bites made it to this title as well, such as HEADSHOT, KILLING SPREE, ROCKET SCIENTIST ect.

Since I am reviewing this for the 360, I’d like to tell you that it has:

5 new maps, 2 new characters, a 2 player splitscreen, achievements, and all the updates already on the disc.

The only thing that ticks me off about the hole thing is that the 360 version does not support user generated mods.

On the PS3 version you can make mods, skins, maps, and mutators (different game modes). One of the coolist skins I’ve seen was the Master Chief from the Halo series.

OK with that stuff out of the way lets get to Gameplay modes:

Deathmatch

Team Deathmatch

Capture the flag

Duel: A one versus one gametype.

Warfare: Warfare adds nodes that you have to capture before you can assult the enemy core. Gaining control of these nodes will give your team a new spawn point, vehicles and an orb to instantly defend your node.

Vehicle Capture the Flag: Capture the Flag, with vehicles.

I’ve only played a bit of the single player campaign and a few multiplayer matches, all of which has been a boat load of fun! I’m giving this one a 9.5/10

Too Human Demo Review

In Too Human you play the cyberneticly augmented god Lord Baldur. This game is based around norse mythology, so you can expect to see a few norse gods such as Loki, Odin, and Thor.

Too Human offers 5 distinct classes to chose from:

Bioengineer

This is the healer class for Too Human.

Commando

Ranged attack, and explosive specialist.

Champion

This is the most balanced class in the game, it has equal health, attack, and ranged attack points. The Champion also excels in air combat.

Defender

Tank. Lots of armor and hit points. Sword and board.

Berserker

Damage pre second, this is the duel wield class. It’s fast and I didn’t get hit that often when playing it.

In the demo only the Champion, Berserker, and Commando classes are available.

Out of those 3 I would have to say that the Berserker is my favorite. It was fun in the fact that I would slide across the screen to an enemy an and two shot him then slide over to the next, I felt untouchable.

The Champion is a pretty good class as well, but the Commando seems to need the most balancing.

It’s quite a bit harder to play the Commando, due to having to use the right analog stick to target enemies. I kept finding my self surrounded by enemies before i could pick them off from far away, not a good thing to happen repeatedly with a ranged specialist class.

All in all I would have to say that it was an entertaining demo, the graphics are not outstanding but they are pretty good. The facial features are amazing and the cut scenes are excellent.

The music is very well done as well in setting the mood for the game and the story line.

I give Too Human demo a 8.8/10, not sure if I’m gonna buy it when it comes out on August 19th or not. I’ll probably rent it first and them maybe I might cough up the dough for it.

Brian Kopp’s 1-70 Guide Review

I started leveling a shaman quite a few months ago. At first I wasn’t to concerned at how fast I was leveling, but soon it became really important for me to get to 70 as fast as possible.

Mostly because I want to get to the end game content like raiding, and PvP, I know you can do most battle grounds at level 10 even. But I don’t want to waste any time on that right now.

My main focus is to level as quickly as possible so I can deck my shaman out in a nice epic suit.

Thats where Brian Kopp’s guide came in. Using his guide I was able to level a lot faster through my 20s, 30s, and now my high 40s. I always played horde before this toon so, I didn’t really know where to quest, or the best ways to chain quests [some quests that are around the same area that are easier to get done all at once].

So heres my shaman.

Here you can see that my play time is at 4 days 6 hours 44 minutes. I think that if I had used this guide from the start I would have much less time played.

Not sure if I’ll make it to 70 in 5 days played but I’m confident that I can make it to 60.

Auction House Hot Gold Tips

Filed under:Uncategorized — posted by admin on @ 4:48 pm

Most of the gold making guides that I’ve come across all involve some farming. Meh.

While farming is a mediocre way to make gold, I personally would rather have my non existent girl friend whack my testes with a giant wooden spoon than spend anymore time farming.

Using the auction house is an excellent way. You need to know what you’re doing though.

Step 1, Get the Auctioneer Addon which can be used to get your gold flow going, no matter your level. Auctioneer can be downloaded here: Auctioneer Addon

Step 2, Install it…

Step 3, Scan the Auction House, the more you scan the better your data will be, so scan regularly.

One of the main mistakes people that are new to the auction house make is that they price too low! Remember that you’re trying to make as much gold as you can, and if you undercut too much it will damage the market.

Another common mistake is using the wrong stack sizes. Sometimes it’s better to put items in stacks of 5 or 10 or even 1 for some items, rather than 20 which is the standard size.

Why? Because you may be able to make more gold if you split the stack! This one is a little harder to spot at first but with time you’ll learn the right sized stacks for items, to maximize your profits.

(Don’t be a goof and put up page after page of 1 item at a ridiculous price, mmmk?)

Here’s some more good stuff on auctions. Check it out boiiiiii!!

Joanna’s Horde Leveling Guide Review

Joanna’s Horde Leveling Guide is a great tool for getting the most out of your play time, boasting that if used right you should be able to get from 1-60 in 5 days 20 hours play time, seems to good to be true? Nothing could be further from the truth! Having bought and used this guide for myself I can tell you that it not only works, its a real time saver. Joanna put a lot of effort in when creating this guide, every area you go to quest has detailed maps, video’s, even thottbot and alakazam links BUILT in, just in case you get really stuck.

O.K. soundsgreat but but you need proof? Done! As you can see from this screen shot here I made a level 1 Blood Elf Warlock. This IS how I’m going to prove that this guide not only works, but does a damn fine job.

Here it is at level 20, which took 14 hours 45 minutes play time. I will admit that thats not as good as I was hoping for it to be at this level. From this point on, no more messing around, time to show what this guide can do.
